Basic Policy for Personal Information Protection

RICOH Digital Painting Company,Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as RDP) recognizes the importance of “Protection and use of personal information” in the global information society. In handling all personal information provided in the course of business, RDP will comply with relevant laws and regulations and other criteria. Furthermore, RDP will implement, apply, and manage voluntary rules in view of international trends for personal information protection. The rules will be instructed to and followed by all employees and other parties concerned, and will be maintained and reviewed continually.

1. 1.The company utilizes only legal and appropriate measures in acquiring personal information, and shall not engage in any unlawful activities for the collection of such information.
2. 2.The company shall clearly designate the purpose of use for the personal information it maintains, handling such information adequately within the scope required to fulfill such objectives.
3. 3.The company shall update and ensure the accuracy of the personal information it maintains within the within the scope required to fulfill the objectives intended.
4. 4.The company shall implement adequate measures to ensure the safe management of the personal information it maintains to prevent the unwarranted destruction, disclosure or modification of such information.
5. 5.The company shall take appropriate measures to enable the adequate involvement of the subject of the information (individual) in the handling of personal information.
